Jointly launched by the Development Bureau (DEVB) and the Construction Industry Council (CIC), the "Hong Kong Infrastructure NO. 1" campaign aims to deepen public understanding of the city's infrastructure projects and inspire the next generation to join the industry through guided tours, engineering visits, workshops, exhibitions and other outreach activities. The campaign recently won 10 awards at the 23rd International Business Awards.
News.gov.hk spoke with participants about what they learned from hands-on workshops and guided tours, and interviewed representatives from both the DEVB and the CIC to highlight the campaign's goals and achievements.
