The Transport Department (TD) said today (November 3) that following extensive urgent repair by the operator, the parking meter system has resumed normal operation.
The TD will continue to urge the operator to thoroughly investigate the cause of the incident and submit a report to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents. There is currently no evidence indicating that the system was attacked, and the TD will notify the Digital Policy Office.
