The Government gazetted today (July 12) the proposed road improvement works at Container Port Road South and Tsing Yi Road in Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi. The proposed works serve to enhance the efficiency of the existing roundabouts and their associated road networks, which will improve the traffic conditions in meeting future traffic demand.
Details of the proposal are set out in the Annex. The plans and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

The Government Property Agency is inviting tenders for a three-year tenancy of the government canteen on a portion of the ground mezzanine floor, Lok Ma Chau Terminus, Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point, New Territories.
The premises should only be used as a canteen for the supply of meals, light refreshments, beverages (excluding alcoholic beverages) and other food commodities to Government employees working in the building and such other persons as may be authorised by the Director of Immigration.

Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). Interested tenderers who wish to inspect the site should make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7697 on or before July 22 this year.
