The World Cultures Festival (WCF) will run from October 18 to November 17 to showcase the artistic gems of five Nordic countries: Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland. Tickets for all stage programmes, workshops, masterclasses and films are available now. To celebrate this multicultural festive occasion, a "Go Nordic!" limited-time offer of 30 per cent off for all full-price tickets for stage programmes (as well as each purchase of tickets for two or more Nordic Café series programmes) will be given until September 30.

The WCF will also offer free extension activities, including meet-the-artist sessions, talks, guided tours, outreach performances, exhibitions and a spectacular outdoor multimedia production.

Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the WCF encompasses music, dance, drama, literature, circus arts and more to engage audiences on the past, the present and the future through programmes with inclusive and people-oriented themes as well as focusing on key social issues. The opening programme is the two-act opera "Autumn Sonata", an operatic version by Finnish composer Sebastian Fagerlund of a noted film by Swedish master Ingmar Bergman.
