Tenders invited for government canteen tenancy

     The Government Property Agency is inviting tenders for the government canteen situated at a portion of the ground floor, block A, Pik Uk Prison, 397 Clear Water Bay Road, Sai Kung, for canteen purposes only.

     The tender notice was uploaded today (February 1) to the Agency’s website: www.gpa.gov.hk. Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). The documents can also be downloaded from the Agency’s website.
      
     Interested tenderers who wish to inspect the site should make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7654 on or before February 13 this year.

     Tenderers must submit their tenders by placing them in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box situated on the Ground Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, before noon on February 26 this year. Late tenders will not be accepted. read more

Proposed road works at Road L54B Extension and Lam Tei Interchange in Tuen Mun gazetted

     The Government gazetted today (February 1) the proposed road works for the construction of Road L54B Extension and improvement works at Lam Tei Interchange, which will serve the anticipated traffic demand caused by future housing development in Tuen Mun Area 54.

     Details of the proposal are set out in the Annex. The plans and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, is required to address to the Secretary for Transport and Housing an objection in writing, which can be submitted via the following means:
 

  • By post or by hand to the Transport and Housing Bureau’s drop-in box No. 6 located at the entrance on 2/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong.  The box is available for use between 8am and 7pm from Monday to Friday (except public holidays);
  • By fax to 2868 4643; or
  • By email to gazettethb@thb.gov.hk.

     A notice of objection should describe the objector’s interest and the manner in which he or she alleges that he or she will be affected by the works or the use. Objectors are requested to provide contact details to facilitate communication. A notice of objection should be delivered to the Secretary for Transport and Housing not later than April 2, 2019. read more
