Liquor Licensing Board to meet on Tuesday

The following is issued on behalf of the Liquor Licensing Board:

     The Liquor Licensing Board will meet on Tuesday (February 19) to consider four applications for new issue, renewal and amendment of liquor licences on Hong Kong Island.

     The applications are (not in order of discussion):
 
LQV in Mid-level
Zinc in Central
Kui Kee Seafood Restaurant in Wan Chai
Bar Pacific in Shau Kei Wan
 
     The meeting will be held at 9.45am in the conference room, Room 102, 1/F, 258 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai. Members of the public are welcome to attend, except during the private session on confidential items. read more

Nurturing bonds with nature

     Kindergarten students can learn about farming at the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department’s Lions Nature Education Centre in Sai Kung as part of the Education Bureau’s kindergarten education scheme.

     News.gov.hk interviewed students and their teacher as well as the department’s Country Parks Ranger Services Officer to see how the activity strengthens children’s connection with nature.
