The Home Affairs Department will open 19 temporary night heat shelters tonight (August 24) for people in need of the service.
The shelters will be open from 10.30pm until 8am tomorrow.

Hong Kong Customs yesterday (August 23) seized 103 suspected unmanifested golf clubs with an estimated market value of about $500,000 at Man Kam To Control Point and an industrial building unit in Yuen Long.
Customs officers intercepted an outgoing private car at Man Kam To Control Point yesterday afternoon and first seized 11 golf clubs on board, that were suspected to be unmanifested items smuggling out by the “ants-move-home” tactic.
After follow-up investigation, Customs officers further seized 92 golf clubs at an industrial building unit in Yuen Long.
A 45-year-old man was arrested.
Investigation is ongoing.
Smuggling is a serious offence. Under the Import and Export Ordinance, any person found guilty of importing or exporting unmanifested cargo is liable to a maximum fine of $2 million and imprisonment for seven years.
