The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (April 24) that due to the sighting of a suspected red tide, red flags have been hoisted at Deep Water Bay Beach, Repulse Bay Beach, South Bay Beach and Shek O Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at the beaches until further notice.
