The Secretary for Education, Dr Choi Yuk-lin, will depart tomorrow (September 20) for Wuhan and lead the National Day and Professional Exchange Delegation from Hong Kong Education Sector to visit Changsha and Beijing to learn about the local education development and participate in cultural study tours.
Dr Choi will visit Wuhan tomorrow and the day after (September 21). She will call on education officials of Hubei Province and visit Central China Normal University.
She will depart for Changsha on September 22 to visit Hunan Normal University and meet its leaders. She will also lead the delegation to participate in local exchange and study activities.
Dr Choi and the delegation will depart for Beijing on September 24 to attend exchange activities. She will also call on education officials of Beijing Municipality and visit Tsinghua University and Beijing Normal University.
Dr Choi will return to Hong Kong on the afternoon of September 27. During her absence, the Under Secretary for Education, Mr Sze Chun-fai, will be the Acting Secretary for Education.
