The Secretariat of the Commission on Poverty (CoP) today (May 24) wishes to alert members of the public to a suspected bogus website with the domain name www.blesshongkong.hk, which resembles the dedicated website of the CoP's "Bless Hong Kong" Campaign.
The Secretariat of the CoP reminds the public that the "Bless Hong Kong" campaign has completed and the Secretariat has ceased using the above website domain since February 2016. If members of the public would like to know more about the CoP, they are advised to visit the CoP's dedicated website (www.povertyrelief.gov.hk).
The Secretariat of the CoP has referred the case to the Police for investigation. Anyone who has provided his or her personal information or has conducted any financial transactions through the suspected bogus website should contact the Police.
