Following are the remarks by the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Miss Rosanna Law, at a media session after attending the LIV Golf Hong Kong 2025 this afternoon (March 9):
Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism: I just got in but it is already very positive vibe today. I am glad that the weather is good. I think when I see all the faces of the audience around, they are very happy, enjoying themselves obviously. It is something very different from what I used to have for a formal tournament. It's so proper and serious but here you have a fun vibe and everything is so relaxed. I think this is what tourism and entertainment ought to be.

Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism: We are working very closely and seriously with the organiser of LIV Golf. Our objective is to work out a long-term partnership with them. So that they can bring back this wonderful event year after year.
Reporter: So, you are working a particular timescale?
Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism: We are very close to agreeing on something but we are still working on it. If we are talking about a timeframe, of course, we want it to be pretty assuring.
Reporter: 是之後年都會有這個LIV Golf(比賽)?
Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism: Let's work on the details and I think the partnership and intention of both sides to clinch the deal is strong.
