At 5.30pm, a group of protestors were blocking the carriageways at Connaught Road Central near the City Hall in Central, paralysing the traffic.
A group of radical protestors set fire at the junction of Pedder Street and Des Voeux Road Central. Some protestors vandalised the exits of Central MTR Station, they also set fire at exit K of Central MTR Station. The Central MTR Station has been closed temporarily.
A group of protestors are heading to Admiralty, and gathering outside Admiralty MTR Station.
The Police warn the protestors to stop their illegal acts and leave the site immediately. Drivers are advised to avoid travelling to the area and stay tuned to the latest traffic arrangement.
