Police’s dispersal operation in Mong Kok

Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

     Since 9pm, some protestors have been blocking carriageways at Nathan Road near Prince Edward Road West in Mong Kok. Protestors set up barricades with trash bins and debris, paralysing the traffic. Some protestors hurled hard objects into Mong Kok police station, posing a safety threat to members of the public and police officers at scene. 

     After repeated warnings in vain, Police are now deploying appropriate force to disperse the protestors. Police warn protestors to stop any illegal acts and leave immediately. 

     Police also remind members of the public to avoid travelling to the area and stay tuned to the latest situation.
