Man arrested for murder

     Police arrested a 26-year-old man at Hong Kong International Airport last night (December 6) in suspected connection with a murder case reported in Aberdeen on the same day.

     At about 8am yesterday, Police received a report that a man was found drowning at the sea off Wah Fu (I) Estate. He was certified dead after being sent to hospital. Investigation confirmed that the deceased was the 65-year-old father of the arrested man.

     Initial investigation revealed that the arrested man was suspected of disposing the dead body of his father into the sea off Wah Fu (I) Estate after assaulting his father with a knife.

     The arrested man is being detained for further enquiries.

     Investigation by the District Crime Squad Team 1 of Western District is underway.
