Foreign Affairs Council, 12 October
The Foreign Affairs Council will exchange views on Russia and on EU relations with the Latin America and the Caribbean region, and be informed about current affairs.
General Affairs Council, 13 October
Ministers will take stock on the EU-UK negotiations and will discuss European Council conclusions for the meeting on 15-16 October.
Video conference of employment, social affairs and equality ministers, 13 October
Employment and Social Policy ministers will hold two debates: ‘Worker participation and support for workers in restructuring’ and ‘Equal participation of women and men in the labour market’.
European Council, 15 and 16 October
EU leaders will discuss relations with the United Kingdom, climate change and relations with Africa.
Agriculture and Fisheries Council, 19 and 20 October 2020
Ministers will seek to adopt the Council’s general approach on the post-2020 CAP reform package, conclusions on the farm to fork strategy and reach a political agreement on next year’s fishing opportunities in the Baltic Sea.
Environment Council, 23 October 2020
Ministers will discuss the European climate law as well as biodiversity.
