Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan today (September 20) in which a 26-year-old man died.
At 11.11am, a bicycle ridden by the 26-year-old man was travelling along Route Twisk towards Tsuen Wan. When approaching Kwong Pan Tin Tsuen, it reportedly lost control, dashed to the opposite lane and rammed into a coach driven by a 50-year-old man. The cyclist fell onto the ground and was rolled over by the coach.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the cyclist was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.40am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
