Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi this morning (September 22) in which a 35-year-old man died.
At about 5am this morning, a private car driven by a 35-year-old man was traveling along Tsing Sha Highway Sha Tin bound. When approaching Eagle's Nest Tunnel, it reportedly rammed onto the kerb.
The driver was thrown out of the private car. Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 5.44am. A 31-year-old female passenger also sustained injury to her neck and was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment in conscious state.
Active investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
