The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (November 8) that due to special circumstances which may possibly happen nearby, all facilities in Victoria Park in Wan Chai District; Island East Sports Centre, Sai Wan Ho Sports Centre, Island East Swimming Pool, turf pitch and tennis courts in Quarry Bay Park, tennis courts in Sai Wan Ho Playground in Eastern District; tennis courts of Sha Tsui Road Playground in Tsuen Wan District; Fa Yuen Street Sports Centre and Fa Yuen Street Public Library Students' Study Room in Yau Tsim Mong District are closed to ensure the safety of venue users.
Subject to the situation, more cultural and leisure facilities in the same districts and any other districts which may be affected will also be closed early and at short notice to ensure the safety of venue users. Members of the public who plan to go to those venues are advised to contact the venues concerned or 1823 in advance.
