Excerpts from the transcript:

Dmitry Medvedev’s conversation with Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen

Dmitry Medvedev: Prime Minister Sen, it is a pleasure to see you. I am glad we are meeting again.

I have warm memories of my visit to Cambodia in November 2015. I think that the meeting was useful for our relations. It was also a fascinating trip.

We met several times again after that visit to discuss the Russia−Cambodia cooperation. This event, the Asia−Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit, is another opportunity to share our views.

I am happy to see you.

Hun Sen (via interpreter): Thank you for finding the opportunity to meet with me in Brussels. I have fond memories of your visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia. I really hope you can visit Cambodia again when we will be hosting the ASEM summit in 2020.

Thank you for your support of our victory in the parliamentary elections in Cambodia. As you know, the Cambodian People’s Party secured a strong victory.

Dmitry Medvedev: It was indeed an impressive success.
