The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
As the COVID-19 outbreak in Hong Kong has been getting more severe, the President of the Legislative Council (LegCo) has decided that the LegCo meeting, scheduled for tomorrow (December 2) at 11am in the Chamber of the LegCo Complex, will adjourn after dealing with the following items:
(a) laying of papers on the Table of the Council;
(b) questions;
(c) Government bills; and
(d) proposed resolution to extend the period for amending subsidiary legislation.
The two Members' motions not intended to have legislative effect originally scheduled for the above meeting will be dealt with at a future Council meeting.
