U.S. Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo will announce the creation of the Iran Action Group at 2:30 p.m. today, Thursday, August 16, in the Press Briefing Room at the Department of State. Following Secretary Pompeo’s remarks, Director of Policy Planning Brian Hook will take questions from journalists.
This event is open press coverage. Journalists who plan to cover this event in person must be seated in the Press Briefing Room by 2:15 p.m.
