Justice Minister Naomi Long and Health Minister Mike Nesbitt today visited Footprints Women’s Centre at Colinmill in west Belfast to hear at first hand about its new community-based Legal and Justice Advice Project.

The All-Island Cancer Data Forum 2026 convened in Belfast under the eHealth Hub for Cancer, an all-island research programme led by Queen’s University Belfast and University of Limerick, to advance all-island discussions on data-driven cancer research and innovation.

The First Minister Michelle O’Neill and deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly have welcomed a £9million investment by O&S Doors to install a biomass-fuelled Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system. The investment is co-funded by the Shared Island Sustainability Capital Grant Scheme, with a grant of £2.4million.

Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has announced that a £600,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme on Hillhead Road, Castledawson will commence on Monday 2 February 2026.
