The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has been apprised of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Spain on India-Spain Cooperation in renewable energy.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the construction of double line with electrification between Vanchi-Maniyachchi- Nagercoil via Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu.

The two-day National Conference for Young SPs of States/UTs and Commandants of CAPFs concluded here today. Dr. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, Advisor to Minister of State for Power, Shri Piyush Goyal delivered the Valedictory Session at the conference. The two-day Conference was organised by Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D), Ministry of Home Affairs. The conference was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Electronics & Information Technology and Law & Justice, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad yesterday.
