Phase down plan for amalgam fillings published
The Department of Health today published a plan to phase down the use of dental amalgam fillings as part of a UK wide approach in line with EU regulations introduced in 2018.
New Appointments and reappointments to the Ministerial Advisory Group for Architecture and the Built Environment in Northern Ireland
Mr Andrew Haley has been appointed as Chair of the Ministerial Advisory Group (MAG) from 1 June 2019 to 31 May 2023. He was previously the Interim Chair from 1 September 2016 to 31 May 2019 and had been a Member from 1 May 2014.

Equine industry contributes £212m per year and 3,300 jobs to NI economy
A new economic analysis has shown that the equine industry in Northern Ireland contributes approximately £212million per year to the economy, with associated employment of up to 3,300 full-time jobs.
