Health Minister comments on COPNI publication on Dunmurry Manor Care Home

Much more needs to be done to restore public confidence in care home provision in Northern Ireland, Health Minister Robin Swann has stated.




DVA UPDATE – Minister Mallon confirms two new lifts are being installed to provide additional capacity

Minister Mallon said: “I have already said that I want to see urgent progress on carrying out MOT tests and I am pleased to confirm that two new lifts are being installed to provide additional capacity – one in Belfast and one in Newbuildings, Derry.




Taxis and four year old cars with expired MOTs will be prioritised. Heavy goods and bus testing continues.

The DVA is working to urgently contact all owners of taxis and four year old cars to book them for MOT tests in the coming days. Priority is being given to those with MOTs that have expired or expire today, so motorists can tax their vehicles.

Minister announces Microsoft to establish Cyber Security Centre in Northern Ireland

Economy Minister Diane Dodds today announced that Microsoft has chosen Northern Ireland as the location for a new Cyber Security Centre which will see the creation of up to 85 new jobs in Belfast.
