Today Justice Ministers and law enforcement agencies across the island of Ireland have come together in Cavan for the 2026 cross-border police conference.

Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has announced that a £290,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme on the B43 Pomeroy Road, Donaghmore, between Coolmaghery Road and the Tullyleek Road, will commence today, Monday 2 March 2026. The proposed scheme will include full width resurfacing of the carriageway for 1.5 kilometres plus additional substructure patching to strengthen the carriageway at various locations.
