DAERA Minister Andrew Muir MLA has congratulated recipients of the King’s Birthday Honours who have today been recognised for their contributions to farming, marine and fisheries, food innovation, science and environmental engineering.

Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has congratulated people from Northern Ireland who have been recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours list for their contributions across the arts, sport, music, housing, charity, and voluntary and community sectors.

The Health Minister has announced a one-off Meningococcal B (MenB) vaccination programme for adolescents in Northern Ireland, in line with announcements across the UK.

First Minister Michelle O’Neill, deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly, and Health Minister Mike Nesbitt visited the Mater Hospital, Belfast to show solidarity with healthcare workers following recent reports of threats, intimidation and racist attacks against staff.

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) marked the successful completion of the first reporting cycles under the Climate Change (Reporting Bodies) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2024 at an event at Parliament Buildings, Stormont, on 11 June 2026.
