COVID-19 Vaccination Programme statistics

     The COVID-19 Vaccination Programme has been implemented for 100 days since February 26, 2021.
 
     So far, about 2 598 100 doses of vaccines have been administered under the Vaccination Programme. Details are as follows:

     In the 24 hours ending at 8pm today (June 5), about 50 400 persons have received vaccination and about 25 300 new vaccination bookings have been made online. Details are as follows:

     In the 24 hours ending at 0.00am today, there were 14 cases of ambulance transfer to hospital from CVCs or designated general out-patient clinics of the Hospital Authority. They were sent to hospital after experiencing common side effects after vaccination and were in stable condition. Eight of them were discharged, four persons were admitted for observation and two persons were discharged against medical advices.




Appeal for information on missing woman in Hung Hom (with photo)

     Police today (June 5) appealed to the public for information on a woman who went missing in Hung Hom.

     Ng Shing-ying, aged 75, went missing after she left her residence at Lok Man Sun Chuen yesterday (June 4) afternoon. Her family made a report to Police today.
    
     She is about 1.58 metres tall, 42 kilograms in weight and of thin build. She has a sharp face with yellow complexion and short black and white hair. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black trousers and red sports shoes.

     Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing woman or may have seen her is urged to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit of Kowloon West on 3661 8038, 9020 6542 or email to rmpu-kw@police.gov.hk, or contact any police station.

Appeal for information on missing man in Sham Shui Po (with photo)

     Police today (June 5) appealed to the public for information on a man who went missing in Sham Shui Po.

     Mok Ping-chuen, aged 71, went missing after he left his residence at Fu Cheong Estate on June 2 afternoon. His family made a report to Police yesterday (June 4).

     He is about 1.55 metres tall, 54 kilograms in weight and of thin build. He has a long face with yellow complexion and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue short-sleeved shirt, dark shorts and black slippers.

     Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing man or may have seen him is urged to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit of Kowloon West on 3661 8038 or 9020 6542 or email to rmpu-kw@police.gov.hk, or contact any police station.

Appeal for information on missing man in Kwun Tong (with photo)

     Police today (June 5) appealed to the public for information on a man who went missing in Kwun Tong.

     Wong Chun-hin, aged 27, went missing after he was last seen at Fo Tan MTR Station on June 1 morning. His family made a report to the Police on June 3.

     He is about 1.7 metres tall, 63 kilograms in weight and of medium build. He has a round face with yellow complexion and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, white T-shirt, black pants and black shoes.

     Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing man or may have seen him is urged to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit of Kowloon East on 3661 0316 or email to rmpu-ke-2@police.gov.hk, or contact any police station.

Public hospitals daily update on COVID-19 cases

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     As at 9am today (June 5), five COVID-19 confirmed patients (case number: 8747, 11834, 11843, 11846, 11850) were discharged from hospital in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 11 584 patients with confirmed or probable infection have been discharged.
 
     At present, there are 619 negative pressure rooms in public hospitals with 1 130 negative pressure beds activated. A total of 26 confirmed patients are currently hospitalised in 12 public hospitals and the North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Centre, among which one patient (case number: 6794) is in critical condition, one (case number: 9907) is in serious condition and the remaining 24 patients are in stable condition.
 
     The Hospital Authority will maintain close contact with the Centre for Health Protection to monitor the latest developments and to inform the public and healthcare workers on the latest information in a timely manner.
