Extension of polling hours for polling station at Tsing Yi Trade Association Primary School

The following is issued on behalf of the Electoral Affairs Commission:

     Attention TV and radio duty announcers. Please broadcast the following special announcement immediately and repeat it at frequent intervals:

     The Electoral Affairs Commission (EAC) announced that as the poll for the 2021 Legislative Council General Election was interrupted for 10 minutes by unstable network connection at 11.30am today (December 19) at the polling station at Tsing Yi Trade Association Primary School (Code: S2601), after taking into consideration relevant circumstances, the EAC has decided to extend the polling hours for the polling station for 10 minutes to 10.40pm for the affected electors to cast their votes.

     According to section 5(g) of the Electoral Affairs Commission Ordinance, the Commission may do such other incidental act or thing or exercise such powers as it considers necessary or expedient for the performance of its functions under this or any other Ordinance.

The following is issued on behalf of the Electoral Affairs Commission:

     Attention TV and radio duty announcers. Please broadcast the following special announcement immediately and repeat it at frequent intervals:

     The Electoral Affairs Commission (EAC) announced that as the poll for the 2021 Legislative Council General Election was interrupted for 10 minutes by power failure of the polling station at 8.38am today (December 19) at the polling station at Kowloon Technical School (Code: F1001), after taking into consideration relevant circumstances, the EAC has decided to extend the polling hours for the polling station for 10 minutes to 10.40pm for the affected electors to cast their votes.

     According to section 5(g) of the Electoral Affairs Commission Ordinance, the Commission may do such other incidental act or thing or exercise such powers as it considers necessary or expedient for the performance of its functions under this or any other Ordinance.

The following is issued on behalf of the Electoral Affairs Commission:

     Attention TV and radio duty announcers. Please broadcast the following special announcement immediately and repeat it at frequent intervals:

     The Electoral Affairs Commission (EAC) announced that as the poll for the 2021 Legislative Council General Election was interrupted for 15 minutes by unstable operation of the Electronic Poll Register system at 1.58pm today (December 19) at the polling station at Buddhist Lim Kim Tian Memorial Primary School (Code: S1401), after taking into consideration relevant circumstances, the EAC has decided to extend the polling hours for the polling station for 15 minutes to 10.45pm for the affected electors to cast their votes.

     According to section 5(g) of the Electoral Affairs Commission Ordinance, the Commission may do such other incidental act or thing or exercise such powers as it considers necessary or expedient for the performance of its functions under this or any other Ordinance.
