     Owing to serious road blockage around Arsenal Street in Wan Chai, the Report Room service in Wan Chai Police Station has been suspended until further notice. For emergencies, please call 999.




Dispersal Arrangement after the Public Procession (2)

     The first group of participants of the public procession have reached the finishing point on Luard Road, Wan Chai. Police appeal to those who are still en route to disperse towards Happy Valley via Queen’s Road East or Wan Chai Road after the conclusion of the event. For those who have already proceeded to Admiralty, please do not congregate and take public transport to leave the area soonest.




Police advise dispersal routes from Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

Police advise the public to consider the following dispersal routes from Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC):

1) take public transport at the bus terminus of Convention Avenue from the east of HKCEC;
2) take ferry or other public transport at Wan Chai Ferry Pier*;
3) walk towards the direction of Causeway Bay.

* The ferry service between Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui has been strengthened since 2pm. Members of the public can choose to leave Wan Chai by ferry service.




Dispersal Arrangement after the Public Procession

A public procession is being held on Hong Kong Island, kicking off in Victoria Park. The finishing point is set at the junction between Johnston Road and Luard Road, Wan Chai.

The Police appeal to the public to disperse through QueenĂ¢â‚¬™s Road East or Wan Chai Road towards Happy Valley upon the conclusion of the event.




Cafeteria Old Beach reopened

     Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (July 21) that the shark prevention net at Cafeteria Old Beach in Tuen Mun District has been repaired and the beach has been reopened.

     The beach was temporarily closed earlier for shark prevention net maintenance work.
