Early closure of some LCSD facilities

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 3) that due to an incident in the vicinity, Kowloon Park Sports Centre and Kowloon Park Swimming Pool in Yau Tsim Mong District have been closed.




Protestors surround Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station and commit arson

     A large group of radical protestors continued to gather outside Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station, setting fire at various locations in its surrounding. They also damaged several vehicles inside the station and hurled bricks and hard objects into the building, causing serious public danger.

     In face of the situation, Police officers used tear gas in the vicinity to disperse the protestors.

     Police appeal to everyone at the scene to leave immediately and express strong condemnation against such violent acts.
     

 




Appeal for information on missing woman in Kwai Chung (with photo)

     Police today (August 3) appealed to the public for information on a woman who went missing in Kwai Chung.
                                     
     Tse On-ki, aged 43, went missing after she left a rehabilitation home on Tai Loong Street yesterday morning (August 2). A staff member of the centre made a report to Police today.
                                                                                     
     She is about 1.58 metres tall, 63.5 kilograms in weight and of medium build. She has a round face with yellow complexion and long black hair. She was last seen wearing an orange shirt, yellow shorts, and dark colour sports shoes.

     Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing woman or may have seen her is urged to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit of New Territories South on 3661 1174 or 9143 9685 or email to rmpu-nts-2@police.gov.hk, or contact any police station.

Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station surrounded by protestors

     Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

     A large group of protestors are gathering outside the Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station, daubing the building with paint and damaging a vehicle inside the station.

     At around 8pm, Police officers warned the protestors to stop their illegal act at once and disperse peacefully.




Mong Kok Police Station Report Room and MTR Hung Hom Station Police Reporting Centre services suspended

     Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

     The Report Room services of Mong Kok Police Station and MTR Hung Hom Station Police Reporting Centre are now temporarily suspended. Police appeal to members of the public not to obstruct the emergency vehicles access so as to avoid affecting the emergency services provided to the public. In case of emergency, please call 999.
