Police conducting dispersal operation in Wong Tai Sin

     A large group of protestors gathering in the vicinity of Lung Cheung Road blocked the roads, hurling miscellaneous objects at Police officers, posing a serious safety threat to members of the public at scene.

     After repeated but futile warnings, in face of the situation, Police deployed tear gas, using minimum force to disperse the protestors.

     Police appeal to everyone in the area and members of the public nearby to leave immediately.

     Police appeal to residents in the vicinity to stay tuned to the latest situation and if necessary, keep their windows shut and stay indoors.

     At around 3.15pm, protestors gathering in the vicinity of Lung Cheung Road near Temple Mall blocked the carriageway for both Eastbound and Westbound of Lung Cheung Road, seriously paralysing the traffic.
 
     Police warn protestors to stop blocking the roads and other illegal acts immediately.
 
     Police appeal to the members of the public to stay tuned to the latest traffic arrangement.




Suspension of evening dental services of some Government Dental Clinics today

     The Department of Health announced that owing to the situations in some areas, the evening dental services of Wan Chai Dental Clinic, Yau Ma Tei Dental Clinic, Sheung Kwai Chung Government Dental Clinic and Pamela Youde Government Dental Clinic in Sha Tin will be suspended today (August 5). Those with appointments will be given a new appointment.

Missing woman in Kwai Chung located

     A woman who went missing in Kwai Chung has been located.

     Tse On-ki, aged 43, went missing after she left a rehabilitation home on Tai Loong Street on August 2 morning. A staff member of the centre made a report to Police the following day (August 3).

     The woman returned to the rehabilitation home this morning (August 5).
