Red flags hoisted at some beaches

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (November 29) that due to big waves, red flags have been hoisted at Stanley Main Beach and Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island; Silverstrand Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung District. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.




No. 4 alarm fire in Tsuen Wan (4)

     The No. 4 alarm fire broke out at a construction site at junction of Pak Tin Par Street and Tai Chung Road in Tsuen Wan yesterday (November 28) was largely put out at 4.30am today (November 29).
 
     Firemen used six jets and mobilised six breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
 
     No casualties have been reported so far.




No. 4 alarm fire in Tsuen Wan (3)

     The No. 4 alarm fire broke out at a construction site at junction of Pak Tin Par Street and Tai Chung Road in Tsuen Wan yesterday (November 28) was brought under control at 3.32am today (November 29).
 
      Firemen are now using six jets and six breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
 
      No casualties have been reported so far.




No. 4 alarm fire in Tsuen Wan (2)

     A No. 4 alarm fire broke out at a construction site at junction of Pak Tin Par Street and Tai Chung Road in Tsuen Wan yesterday (November 28). It was surrounded at 2.53am today (November 29).
 
     Firemen are now using six jets and six breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
 
     No casualties have been reported so far.




No. 4 alarm fire in Tsuen Wan

     The No. 3 alarm fire broke out at a construction site at junction of Pak Tin Par Street and Tai Chung Road in Tsuen Wan today (November 28) was upgraded to No. 4 alarm at 11.11pm.

     Firemen are now using three jets and six breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

     No casualties have been reported so far.
