     The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) wishes to alert members of the public to a press release issued by ZA Bank Limited on phishing email, which has been reported to the HKMA. Hyperlink to the press release is available on the HKMA website for ease of reference by members of the public.

     Anyone who has provided his or her personal information to the email concerned or has conducted any financial transactions through the email should contact the bank concerned using the contact information provided in the press release, and report to the Police or contact the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force at 2860 5012.
 




Temporary closure of Spiral Lookout Tower in Tai Po Waterfront Park

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (February 19) that the Spiral Lookout Tower in Tai Po Waterfront Park will be temporarily closed from today to February 26 for urgent repair works.

     During the winter surge, the Hospital Authority is closely monitoring the service demand of Accident and Emergency Departments and the occupancy rates in public hospitals. Key service statistics are being issued daily for public information. Details are in the appended table.




Public talks on “Tree Care before Wet Season” to be conducted online

     In view of the latest developments of the novel coronavirus infection, the Development Bureau (DEVB) announced today (February 19) that the public talks on "Tree Care before Wet Season", which were to be held at the Hong Kong Space Museum Lecture Hall on February 28 and March 25, and at the Hong Kong Central Library Lecture Hall on March 24, will be conducted in the form of an online video. Members of the public can view the video on the Greening, Landscape and Tree Management Section of the DEVB website (www.greening.gov.hk) starting February 28.

     Registered participants will be informed of the above arrangement.
