S for S speaks on Nathan Law and immigration officers receiving gifts

Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Security, Mr Tang Ping-keung, at a media session after attending an event today (December 8):

Reporter: Secretary, it's not the first time immigration officials received advantages from Evergrande. Are you concerned about this, and do you think the ICAC should investigate? And my second question is what is the Government going to do about Nathan Law, as you accused him in your blog post that he has violated the National Security Law?

Secretary for Security: First of all, regarding the allegation of our immigration officers accepting some gifts, I think they have given an account of the incident and the Immigration Department is going to investigate. I think after the conclusion of the investigation, we can comment further.

Regarding Nathan Law, as I said, someone even betrays his own country for the political objective of foreign countries. I think this behaviour should be condemned.
