Hospital Authority announces senior appointment (with photo)

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     The Hospital Authority (HA) spokesperson announced the following senior appointment today (January 28):

     Dr So Wing-yee will be appointed as Hospital Chief Executive (HCE) of Bradbury Hospice, Cheshire Home, Shatin and Shatin Hospital, with effect from April 1, 2021, succeeding Dr Sin Ngai-chuen who will take up the post of HCE of Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital and Tai Po Hospital on the same day.
 
     Dr So is a fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism). She is currently the Service Director (Quality & Safety) of New Territories East Cluster (NTEC) and Deputy HCE of Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH). She has contributed significantly to various risk mitigation measures and quality improvement initiatives in NTEC, administration and co-ordination of PWH clinical service, planning and commissioning of PWH Phase 2 redevelopment project.
 
     HA Chairman Mr Henry Fan and Chief Executive Dr Tony Ko congratulate Dr So on her new appointment and wish her every success in taking up the new role.
