Research and analysis: Future of the sea: health and wellbeing of coastal communities

This report summarises the evidence on the drivers of and growing threats to the health and wellbeing of coastal communities. These include:

  • the current health status of UK coastal communities
  • economic and demographic drivers of change
  • threats to health from the changing environment, including pollution and climate change

It was commissioned as part of the Foresight Future of the sea project.
