     The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) wishes to alert members of the public to a press release issued by Tai Yau Bank, Limited on fraudulent website, which has been reported to the HKMA. Hyperlink to the press release is available on the HKMA website for ease of reference by members of the public.
 
     Anyone who has provided his or her personal information to the website concerned or has conducted any financial transactions through the website should contact the bank concerned using the contact information provided in the press release, and report to the Police or contact the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force at 2860 5012.

     The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) wishes to alert members of the public in Hong Kong to a suspected fraudulent website with the domain name https://hcbankltd.com. The website is operated by an alleged Hung Chan Trust Bank/Hung Chan Trust Bank Limited.
 
     The public should be aware that Hung Chan Trust Bank/Hung Chan Trust Bank Limited is not authorised by the Monetary Authority (MA) under the Banking Ordinance to carry on banking business or the business of taking deposits in Hong Kong, nor does it have the MA's approval to establish a local representative office.
 
     The HKMA has referred the case to the Hong Kong Police Force for further investigation. Anyone who has provided his or her personal information to the website or has conducted any financial transactions through the website should contact any local Police Station or the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force at 2860 5012.
 
     Given the global nature of the Internet, members of the public are reminded to verify the status of any organisation making use of the Internet to solicit deposits from the public. A list of authorised institutions is available on the HKMA's website (www.hkma.gov.hk). Members of the public may also check the status of any entity in Hong Kong which solicits deposits from the public with the HKMA by emailing its public enquiry service (publicenquiry@hkma.gov.hk).

     The Social Welfare Department (SWD) today (May 4) launched the Anti-virus Coating Spray Subsidy to support all the some 1 000 residential care homes for the elderly (RCHEs) and residential care homes for persons with disabilities (RCHDs) to give their premises an anti-virus coating spray for stepping up infection control. The subsidy is one of the items approved by the Anti-epidemic Fund Steering Committee on April 20, with a total subsidy amount of $80 million.
 
     All subvented, contract, self-financing and private RCHEs and RCHDs with a valid licence as at April 30, 2020, are eligible to apply for the subsidy. The ceiling of the subsidy amount for each RCHE or RCHD is calculated on the basis of the floor area of the home.
 
     The SWD issued letters today to invite eligible RCHEs and RCHDs to apply for the subsidy. Following a streamlined confirmation procedure, the RCHEs and RCHDs may procure the anti-virus coating spray service on their own for one-off or multiple applications of coating to provide disinfection protection for an aggregate of no less than 180 days. The coating spray must be started on or before August 31, 2020.

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     The Hospital Authority (HA) today (May 4) announced the approval of the HA Board for the introduction of a Specialty Nurse Allowance (SNA) for eligible nurses at the Registered Nurse rank (hereafter referred to as "RNs") as recognition of their expertise and contributions in relevant specialty areas.
 
     The HA spokesperson said that a fixed monthly allowance of $2,000 will be introduced for RNs who possess recognised specialty qualification and are serving in relevant clinical service areas. The SNA is applicable to eligible serving and newly hired RNs in both general and psychiatry streams under permanent and contract full-time employment (including those who have already reached the maximum pay point). Eligible nurses can submit applications with effect from today and receive the SNA from the policy effective date of March 1, 2020, at the earliest.
 
     The HA will continue to encourage the professional development of nurses to support service development. The long-term plan shall take into account the Nursing Council of Hong Kong's future Voluntary Scheme on Advanced/Specialised Nursing Practice to be implemented in future.
