     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (June 14) that due to big waves, red flag has been hoisted at Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung District. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beach.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (June 14) that due to big waves, red flags have been hoisted at Deep Water Bay Beach, Stanley Main Beach, Shek O Beach and Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.

     Owing to the Strong Wind Signal No. 3, the flag-raising ceremony to be conducted at Golden Bauhinia Square, Wan Chai at 8am today (June 14) will be cancelled.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (June 14) that the Tung Chung Swimming Pool in Islands District, closed earlier on due to an insufficient number of lifeguards on duty, has been reopened.

     "The Social Welfare Department announces that due to the issuing of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3, members of the public are advised not to take their children or family members to centres providing after school care programmes or elderly services centres. Members of the public who have a need for the services mentioned may contact the service units concerned and confirm their operating hours in advance."
