Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has welcomed the positive impact that staging the Open Championship has had on Northern Ireland.

Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has announced essential safety related maintenance works on the B8 Newry Road in Mayobridge. The works will necessitate a full road closure from 8am Monday 17 November to Friday 28 November 2025 at 5pm from the B8 junction with Aughnagon Road to the junction with Crossan Road.
