Performance of Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs)

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has informed that as of March 2017, there were 11517 Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) registered with them, of which 179 are deposit accepting NBFCs (NBFC-D) and 220 are Systemically Important Non Deposit accepting NBFCs (NBFC-ND-SI).
