The next stage of the ‘Move to Universal Credit (UC)’ has begun for those in receipt of Income Support.

Disease control measures have been initiated by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) following suspicion of notifiable highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), at a commercial poultry premises near Dungannon, County Tyrone.




Appointments to the Board of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland

Communities Minister Gordon Lyons MLA has reappointed William Leathem as Vice-Chair, and Paul Brolly, Joe Dougan, Laura McCorry and Gearoid Trimble as Board Members to the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Board from 1 February 2025 until 31 January 2029. He has also extended the period of appointment of the Chair, Liam Hannaway, from 1 February 2025 until a new chair is appointed. They have all served on the Board from 1 February 2021.
