Magdalen Yard Road (Thomson Street to Windsor Street) – closed westbound from 8.30am – 7.30pm on Sunday 2 June for Westfest Big Sunday Event.

South Union Street (Thomson Avenue – Riverside Esplanade) – closed southbound off-peak (9.30am – 3.30pm) on Thursday 30 May for fencing works.

Blackness Road (Glamis Road to Blackness Avenue) – closed from Wednesday 5 June for 5 working days for carriageway patching and surface dressing works.

WestFest Big Sunday – traffic arrangements

The City Council has issued the following temporary traffic order regarding tomorrow’s WestFest Big Sunday :

THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(b)

THE DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL AS TRAFFIC AUTHORITY being satisfied that traffic on the road should be prohibited by reason of the Westfest Big Sunday Event HEREBY PROHIBIT the driving of any vehicle westbound in Magdalen Yard Road from Thomson Street to Windsor Street.

This notice comes into effect from 08:30hrs to 19:30hrs on Sunday 2 June 2019.

Diversions are available via Roseangle / Perth Road / Windsor Street.
